It's been 10 years!

I cannot believe that it's been 10 years since we finished high school and about that many years since we all have known each other! We had our high school reunion labor day weekend and it was drama filled (for details, please refer to Sarah's facebook photos), but fun! I enjoyed hanging out with Megan, KT, Staci, and Sarah... and we definitly missed Emily since she was in Chicago!

It's also been 10 years since the last time I saw Kenny Chesney in concert. The last time I went was in high school when he played at the George Strait Fest at Death Valley. It was pretty much a perfect day since I started off my Saturday with breakfast at Charleston Café with Megan and Sarah and then Jim and I went to the concert. Kenny puts on a great show and he didn't lip sing like the Backstreet Boys did when Erin, Julie, and I went. Remember that?!

Where were these cute things when we got married?

I've discovered that weddings are much more hip now than when I got married. Veils are missing, dresses look like little party gowns, and bridesmaids dresses really CAN be worn again. You don't event have to cut them off because their short now!

Thought yall would enjoy seeing my latest couple on my blog. They did a photo booth that was awesome! Where were these things 6 years ago? SE is definitely doing this!

Love you girls.

Texting can be VERY BAD: WARNING!

I have to tell this to you girls because I have felt awful all night long, and I'm thinking that y'all pretty much know me the best out of all my friends, and haven't changed that much since college. So take this as a lesson learned by me and don't do the same! I'm going to try to make this sorta funny cause I have been crying most of the evening because I feel so very bad. And hopefully you all know that probably the worst thing that I could do is hurt someones feelings, I hate it, I feel so so horrible if I have knowningly hurt someones feelings....and yes...that's what I did...not just anyone...my best friend in Aiken, she is like my family, and while we are Night and Day, we are seriously like family, I'm talking about Kayla across the street.
(Ok long story short) I went to a "just ducky" party with her yesterday, a highend clothing line for kids. It was about an hour out of town, I had a bad attitude about it cause I knew I wouldn't be able to afford a single item there. At some point during the car ride there Tarrant pooped his pants, unaware I pick him up out of the car seat upon arrival and to my surprise the diaper has leaked, not only on the car seat but now on me too. I've never met these people, I have poop on my shirt and its all over tarrant, which by the way I didn't bring a back up outfit! BIG DUMMY! I get another shirt from the girl, look at the expensive clothes, realize I must buy something because of the scene I caused when we got there, T is getting hungry, I can't put him down b/c the house is not baby proof, I'm getting hungry, we're ready to leave, T is beginning to go WILD, not bad just WILD, Kayla is still shopping, finally picks out something , has to feed her baby, I feed T something that I just threw in cause I thought we'd be home for dinner, its hot (which always makes things worse!) And four hours later we are on our way home!
So the lesson: I text Robbie (or so I think) on the way home "Remind me never to go shopping with Kayla again. T pooped all over, made a huge mess, I HAD to buy something, and I'm not wearing the same shirt I left in."
Well ladies cell phones are funny things because it turns out I've texted that to Kayla...thats right Kayla, who is more of a sister to me than my own sister and has been an awesome neighbor and friend, and in one little text I crush her. I didn't even know it until tonight that it had even happened, however she knew right away. How awful I know! I raced across the street to apologize and she accepted, but man I still feel like pure crap...SO let this be a lesson to you all.
I am a master texter, been texting for years, in fact I've been texting since 2005 and never made such a huge mistake...Please learn from me and find some humor in my story.... Moms to be there are a LOT of lessons in the story for you to learn!
Thank you for letting me get this off my chest, I'm feeling somewhat better knowning that you all should get a good laugh out of this. Hope everyone has an awesome weekend, and I'll be posting a pic of the outfit I "HAD" to order...and yes it was expensive! Love y'all

What's the deal?

Just a pic for fun...this is the night after his party he was so excited about this gift from Evan, who he LOVES! Poor guy looks like he is going to fall asleep on it.
I can't make comments on anyones posts? I don't understand...so I guess I'll just write my comments here cause it will let me! Mel, love the ultra sound pic, those ultra sounds are so precious and make things that much more real for you and Matt. I think they made ultra sounds cause so many husbands doubted that their wives were in fact prego, so being able to see it convinces them that you are telling the truth!

I need to know how far along are you mel...and les, in weeks I guess! I hope you are both reading "what to expect when you're expecting", I thought it was a great book just to use as a reference for things like dr. visits and strange things happening to your body (like sudden nose bleeds!). They also have another book, "what to expect the first year", I would highly recommend that one too, cause again some things happen and how are we to know if that's normal or not. Just throwing that out there.

Hope everyone is having a great week!
